Originally titled 'Tomorrow is Another Day', Pulitzer Prize winner Margaret Mitchell, took us on a journey during the the Civil War and Reconstruction periods, in the life and experiences of our heroine, Scarlett O'Hara. It took about 10 years to write, edit and then publish her book in 1936. Pictured here, a 1st edition, I found in a thrift store for only $1.00; standing next to a 1993 edition I bought in the late 1990s. Somehow the clerks overlooked the value of a treasure find like this one.
